The ESCRS Cataract Surgery Training Lab will give participants a unique opportunity and experience to test and learn from the industry!

Participation to this Training Lab is supported by Alcon, Haag Streit and HelpmeSee. Although registration was mandatory (on a complimentary basis), participants are encouraged to go visit this space in Hall 6 of the Exhibition.

HelpMeSee is a nonprofit organisation that creates high fidelity virtual reality simulators with tactile sensation to deliver instructor-led training worldwide. Their award-winning simulation technology is augmented by hands-on expert instruction and robust curriculum materials.

Haag Streit Simulation’s Eyesi Surgical simulator teaches all aspects of cataract surgery and has been validated for its capacity to help aspiring surgeons acquire essential surgical skills to become safe & effective cataract surgeons. Take the early steps to possessing a deeper understanding for essential skills needed to undertake each step of cataract surgery. Every course participant will be afforded both simulation & advanced wet lab training for a unique holistic active learning experience sure to help you begin your journey to “surgical readiness”.
